Spring/Fall 2025
Twice a year the Carson Valley Quilt Guild hosts a nationally known quilt educator for a weekend workshop and a lecture at the following Monday night meeting. Class fees are quite reasonable for both members and non-members of the guild. It’s a unique opportunity to learn new quilting techniques from experts, enhance skills, and share the love of quilting and creating. The workshops and lectures are open to guild members and the public when space is available. We’d love for you to join us!
This year the Guild hosted two nationally known teachers. April 26 - 28, 2025 Kate Colleran taught two classes. via Zoom from members homes or with several others in a group setting, and presented a program to the assembled membership on the 28th (also via Zoom).
On September 20, 2025 Chris Lynn Kirsch taught "Seminole Borders" , and "Architectural Replique" on September 21. Picture your home as a quilt! Chris was with us "live and in person" for the classes and for our regular meeting on September 22.
